KHASAB MUSANDAM MOUNTAIN SAFARI
Khasab Musandam mountain safari to mighty Hajar Mountains, Jebel Al-Harim, Khor Najd, and Bedouin village of Sayh. Join our off-road adventurous mountain safari to Jebel Harim, translated as the “Mountains of Women”. It is the highest peak of the Musandam Peninsula at 2,087 meters above sea level, where you will enjoy views of the Hajar Mountains. Along the way, you will be able to observe fossils dating back several million years.
Khasab Musandam mountain safari also gives you an opportunity to visit the Bedouin village of Sayh, situated at 1100 meters above sea level. This is a small and peaceful village where one can cherish the beauty of Musandam on the plateau of the mountain. Our journey also takes us to Khawr Najid, with stunning sea views overlooking the Indian Ocean, facing east.
Starting at Jabal Sayh Road, the road is 3.2 km (1.98 miles) long. This route is not suitable for normal cars. 4WD only. At this height, temperatures can fall here at night to freezing point. Be sure to have spare water and tires with you if you intend to drive to Jebel Al Harim.
