Lucky that the boat is not full, so kids can goof around and self entertain. According to the boat driver, low tide is better to spot the dolphins. We were a little late, only manage to spot the fins of dolphins. Nonetheless, the scenery is nice! Mini hike up telegraph island, and kids get to jump into the water at telegraph, should have packed some hot drink along. Good that they have a toilet and water spray to rinse off the seawater. Fresh fruits and hot tea/water/soda served.

on City tour, it was a super quick one since kids are a little tired, looked at stone carving, and the fort, and scenary, shdn've stop by their beach since it happen to have a carnival, but too bad no time.

Cruise left port at 10 am. All cruise staff very polite & courteous. Saw lots of dolphins on the way. Stopped for swimming & snorkelling at 2 locations. Lifejackets, snorkelling masks, Towels were provided.
Decent lunch alongwith lots of fruits, water, aerated drinks, tea & coffee
Toilet was small but clean.
Cruise returned back to khasab port after which we were dropped off to the hotel
Would definitely recommend this company for the dhow cruise in musandam.

Nothing to worry about though as we had the full time. Quick mini bus ride to the harbour and we were away. We saw lots of dolphins and they follow in the wake of the boat. We also stopped for swimming and snorkelling (kit provided) and clean towels to dry off with. Plenty of Soft Drinks Tea Coffee and fresh fruit during the trip. We had 2 young lads in charge and they joined in with the laughs which made it a memorable trip

There were four of us, so we took a boat for ourselves for the full day, arranged with Shanawar of Khasab Sea Tours. I had been in touch before arriving, having pre-screened a few companies. Their site is very informative, including up to date information on Oman visas (see Travel Guide and Tips). In January 2019 it was still possible to get a visa on arrival at the land border - we drove up from Dubai - although no-one else in Dubai seemed to know that.

The website claims competitive prices and that is certainly true as we checked with the offices of several other companies before confirming this trip. All were more expensive.
